MANGO ICE CREAM INGREDIENTS 

Mango: I used really ripe mangoes, the mangoes were almost over ripe. Over ripe mangoes are full of sweetness and full of mango flavor. 

Pure Vanilla Extract: I love all my ice creams with a bit of vanilla flavor. 

Cream: I used heavy cream. You could also use full fat milk, thickened cream or full-fat coconut cream.

Sugar: Used granulated white sugar as not to take away the flavor from the mango.

HOW TO MAKE MANGO ICE CREAM

BLEND MANGO CHUNKS: In a high speed blender or a food processor, add mango chunks and heavy whipping cream. Blend into smaller chunks. 

ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS: add granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Continue blending until smooth. 

TASTE AND ADJUST: Taste the ice cream and adjust to test depending on the sweetness of your mixture. 

FREEZE: Pour into an airtight container. Transfer to freezer and freeze for 5 hours or until frozen. 

THAW: Allow to thaw for 15 minutes before scooping.

MANGO ICE CREAM TIP
MANGO: use fresh mango chunks. You can use frozen mango but your ice cream won't have as much mango flavor.
Spicy: do you like spice? Add a teaspoon of saffron or chili powder. 

HOW TO STORE MANGO ICE CREAM
Storage: Store in an ice cream container or an airtight container with a lid.
Freeze for up to 3 months.

HOW TO MAKE MANGO ICE CREAM NOTCH
Mango ice cream taste delicious, but it's more delicious with add-on. 
You can add chocolate chips or chocolate chunks, coconut chips or toasted almonds.

Mango Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Cups Mango Chunks, Fresh
  • 250ml heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ Cup white sugar

METHOD

    1. In a high speed blender, add mango chunks, heavy cream and blend.
    2. Add vanilla extract and granulated white sugar, blend until smooth.
    3. Taste for sweetness and adjust to taste depending on the sweetness of the mixture.
    4. Pour into an airtight container. Transfer in a freezer and freezer for 5 hours or until completely frozen.
